Programming for Children

We are holding Camp Shana Tovah services and supervised activities outside in the tent again this year. 

Snacks will be offered to participating children.

Please note: this is not a drop-off event. A parent or other responsible adult must accompany children younger than Kindergarten to their services.
Older children may attend services and activities unaccompanied.
FOR ALL CHILDREN - a parent or guardian must remain on the property for the duration of the visit.

Camp Shana Tovah has two tracks:

Young Family / Preschool services are offered at 9:30 - 10:15am
Young Family / Preschool (Ages 18 mos. -- 5 years) Services and Childcare.

• Preschool holiday services designed and led by our Preschool Director, Ms. Claudine.
• After the service, childcare is offered for children ages 18 months to 5 years, in the temple's preschool wing.
  Adults can use this time to attend the main services.

School Age (Grades K -- 6) Services and programmed activities.

• Camp Shana Tovah services led by youth leaders and Director of Education, David Schwartz.

You must stay at the temple while your children are at the camp (and at babysitting).

Donations

We're excited about offering this programming for our youth on the High Holy Days! But, as you imagine, having activities and supervision comes with extra costs. We are asking everyone to make a supporting donation to defray costs.

Please count the number of events your child(ren) are attending and multiply that by the number of children you are bringing to Camp Shana Tovah. This is your multiplier. Please pick a donation amount that takes your multiplier into account.

SPECIAL CASES:

• If you are a Temple Har Zion Preschool family, you may enter 0 (zero) for your donation. Other donation amounts are always appreciated.
• If cost is a deterrent, enter 0 (zero) for your donation and contact David Schwartz at dschwartz@wsthz.org.
