Programming for Children

We are holding Camp Shana Tovah services and supervision in an outdoor tent again this year.

Snacks and lunch will be offered to participating children.

Camp Shana Tovah has two tracks:

Preschool Age: Services and Childcare for preschool children:

The day begins with short services designed for preschool children.
- Sign up for the camp's services for preschool children below.
- A parent or other responsible adult must accompany their child(ren) to the preschool services.
After the preschool children's services, childcare is offered for children from ages 18 months through 5 years, in the temple's preschool wing, to allow their adults to attend the main services.
- You must sign up for childcare; sign up for childcare for children 18 months through 5 years here.
- A parent or other adult responsible for the child(ren) in childcare must remain at the temple while the children are being cared for.

School Age: Services and programming for children from kindergarten to 6th grade (grades 7-12 can be paid counselors).

Camp Shana Tovah, which has two parts: a short service followed by games and supervision in the tent.

You must stay at the temple while your children are at the camp (and at babysitting).

Donations

We're excited about offering this programming for our youth on the High Holy Days! Having activities and supervision comes with extra costs.

Please contribute $18 per child per holiday to defray some of these costs (but if cost is a deterrent, please contact David Schwartz at dschwartz@wsthz.org).

* Cost: $18 per child per day (free for Har Zion preschool families, who should enter 0).

Please count the number of events your child(ren) are attending--count the checks in the boxes above--and enter that number here. It will automatically be multiplied by $18.
