Dear Friends,

We awoke this morning with more Covid related news; the president of the United States has contracted the disease.

It is a reminder that our country and world remain in the midst of the dangerous pandemic.

Our country is divided and tense. the months ahead promise to be worse as the elections approach.

Perhaps this is a moment to reach across the aisle and to join in a common prayer that all those who have contracted the disease, including the President and First Lady, find healing, and that our nation recover a spirit of unity and peace.

I wish you Chag Sameach and Shabbat Shalom.
