Shabbat shalom, Rabbi Adir Glick Solomon Family Rabbinic Chair
from the Jewish United Fund's Rabbinic Committee... Community Vigils for Israel
We need not explain to you the gravity or urgency of this moment. Thankfully we will be presenting two community vigils for Israel for the Chicago area Jewish community and its friends. We are writing to you to urge your participation. There will be one vigil in the city and one in the suburbs. The purpose is quite clear:
To help keep the plight of the Israeli hostages front and center in the public eye. We dare not allow our hostages to be forgotten.
The program will include hearing from family members of Israelis murdered and taken hostage.
Wednesday, November 1, 7:30pm at Anshe Emet Synagogue in Chicago Thursday, November 2, 7:30pm at North Suburban Synagogue Beth El (Highland Park)
Pre-registration required for in-person (no walk ins allowed) or Zoom options.
Emails with registration details will be sent in the coming days.
