Where does the Jewish tradition of debate come from? On some level, it started with the schools of the first two rabbis, Hillel and Shammai. Beit Hillel and Beit Shammai (the houses of Hillel and Shammai) used to argue Judaism’s most fundamental ideas.

Join us at today, as we study how Judaism came to understand the power and dangers and created a powerful and respectful framework for debate.
